Black History Month At Footnote

February 2nd, 2009 | Written by Peter

Last week we released a new section of the site for Black History Month.  You’ll find some fascinating insights into the history of African Americans in the records we already have on Footnote and some that we are adding to the site.  This new section of the site pulls together some of the most interesting images and titles.

There’s a link to the Black History pages from the homepage of Footnote or you can go straight to http://go.footnote.com/blackhistory/

I just found your site and I love it. My father-in-law is a geneology nut and he will love it too. I don’t do much family history but I love learning about U.S. history.

I went into detail about the wonderful findings on Footnote.com for African American genealogy. Episode #2 goes into substantial detail about the many findings for African American genealogists. Can’t stop talking about the wonderful Footnote findings!
